Terms of Service

1. Account Terms

By creating an account on vidaReady, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business or organization.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • One account per organization; sharing credentials is not permitted
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

2. Service Description

vidaReady provides automated EU VAT compliance tools for businesses using Stripe, including:

  • Syncing EU transactions from your Stripe account
  • Automatic transaction classification (B2B, B2C, Reverse Charge)
  • VAT ID validation via the official EU VIES API
  • OSS-ready report generation and CSV export
  • Country-by-country VAT breakdowns

vidaReady is a compliance tool and does not constitute tax advice. You are responsible for ensuring your tax filings are accurate and timely. We recommend consulting a qualified tax professional for specific tax matters.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Use the service to transmit malware, spam, or harmful content
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without written permission

4. Stripe Integration

To use vidaReady, you must connect a Stripe account using a restricted API key. By connecting your Stripe account, you authorize us to access your transaction data in read-only mode.

  • We only access data necessary for VAT classification and reporting
  • We do not access payment card data, payouts, or bank account details
  • You may disconnect your Stripe account at any time via Settings
  • Disconnecting does not delete previously synced data unless you also delete your account

5. Billing & Payments

  • Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe
  • Prices are listed in Euros (€) and are exclusive of applicable taxes
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for recurring subscription fees
  • Failed payments may result in temporary suspension of your account
  • Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance

6. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full Pro-level access. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period:

  • You may subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the service
  • If you do not subscribe, your account will be limited but your data will be preserved
  • You can subscribe at any time to restore full access

7. Cancellation & Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain access to the service until the end of the paid period
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months
  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days

8. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership of your transaction data, reports, or any content you create using our service. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the vidaReady service.

9. Intellectual Property

vidaReady, its logo, design, and all associated content are the property of vidaReady and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, vidaReady shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Errors in tax calculations or classifications (the service is a tool, not tax advice)
  • Interruptions in service due to third-party outages (Stripe, VIES, etc.)

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Third-party services (Stripe API, VIES API) may experience outages beyond our control.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Albania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tirana, Albania.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on our platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
